The site's primary goal is to maximize direct bookings — phone calls and email serve as the main conversion channels, bypassing intermediary platforms like Booking.com.
Challenge
The guesthouse needed a fast, mobile-friendly website that presents the property and its surroundings in three languages, while encouraging visitors to book directly via phone or email — eliminating intermediary commission fees.
Solution
Built with Astro's static site generator, the website ships zero JavaScript to the client by default, ensuring lightning-fast load times. Tailwind CSS provides responsive design, and Cloudflare Pages delivers global CDN and reliable hosting — all cost-effectively.
